WHAT PLAYERS DEVELOP

FROM LEARNING SKILLS TO OWNING PERFORMANCE

Players at this stage need more than additional golf instruction. They must begin understanding what they are developing, how to practice it and how to make effective decisions during competition.

DEVELOP

Build reliable contact, clubface control, start direction, distance awareness, short-game skills and putting performance.

PRACTICE

Learn how to organize practice, use feedback, complete purposeful repetitions and work independently between Performance Labs.

DECIDE

Improve club selection, target selection, risk management, course strategy and the ability to adjust to different situations.

COMPETE

Develop preparation routines, emotional control, scoring awareness and the ability to learn from tournament performance.

THE WEEKLY PERFORMANCE LAB

NINETY MINUTES WITH A DEFINED PRIORITY

Each Performance Lab connects the player’s current development needs to focused training, guided challenges and measurable performance standards.

Every lab may include:

  • Movement preparation

  • A clearly defined skill priority

  • Technical or performance coaching

  • Skill-development exercises

  • Decision-making challenges

  • Competitive games

  • Practice-plan adjustments

PRACTICE AND PROOF

DEVELOPMENT CONTINUES BETWEEN LABS

Players receive prescribed practice based on their current priorities. The goal is not simply to complete more repetitions—it is to practice the right information with clear intent.

Two in-house tournaments each month provide opportunities to evaluate:

  • Preparation and routines

  • Skill transfer

  • Course management

  • Scoring performance

  • Decision-making

  • Emotional responses

  • Independent problem-solving

Tournament evidence helps determine what the player trains next.

THE DEVELOPMENT CYCLE

TWELVE WEEKS WITH MEASURABLE PRIORITIES

Each cycle gives the player enough time to understand the information, implement it during practice and demonstrate it in competition.

WEEKS 1–2 — ASSESS

Evaluate the player’s skills, movement, practice habits, decision-making and tournament performance. Establish the most important priorities for the cycle.

WEEKS 3–8 — DEVELOP

Use Performance Labs and prescribed practice to build the selected skills, improve understanding and develop greater independence.

WEEKS 9–12 — PROVE

Evaluate how the player applies the information during challenges and in-house tournaments. Use the evidence to establish the next development priorities.

Players advance through demonstrated competence and performance—not simply because another twelve weeks have passed.

LIMITED ENROLLMENT

READY TO TAKE GREATER OWNERSHIP?

Player Development is for junior golfers who are ready to do more than attend lessons. Players should be prepared to understand the information, complete prescribed practice and apply what they learn during competition.

The program is a strong fit for families seeking:

  • Structured long-term development

  • Clear performance priorities

  • Productive independent practice

  • Regular competitive opportunities

  • Greater player accountability

  • A pathway into Competitive Performance
